Marriage Pastors Chavon & Lakiesha Townsel
Chavon and Lakiesha have been married for 21 years and have 4 children: Derek, Romone, Chavon Jr., and Cne’. Together, they are published authors and founders of Men of Acts Ministries where the First Comes Love Marriage Retreat was birthed. This annual retreat has touched over a thousand married couples across the United States! They are passionate about God’s people and are also involved in additional men and women ministry opportunities, speaking engagements, homeless outreach events and most recently a city-wide Baby which took place in 3 different cities in 2021.
Chavon has come to know the Lord over the past 20 years and God’s heart for intimate relationship with mankind. Chavon realized that the dynamic of family starts with the position that a man must take with relating to God the Father. This position is to worship God freely and serve the world openly. Chavon became an ordained Deacon in 2009 and continued his learning and completed ministry school at Ever Increasing Life Ministry. Shortly after completing ministry school, he became the Dean of the school. Through his experience the Lord called him into creating and Pastoring Men of Acts Ministries.
Lakiesha is passionate about motivating women and encouraging them to be confident in pursuing God’s plan for their lives. She believes that confidence along with great faith will have a tremendous impact on their families and home life first, as this is where true ministry is birthed. Whether speaking to single women about preparation for marriage, or to married women about being the best that God called them in to be in their gender purpose role as a wife, she desires to change the lives of each woman she encounters. Her focus is motivating women to establish and flourish in a personal relationship with God, loving others as you love yourself and using your gifts to change your world. She has ministered in different cities across the United States and Africa to married women both in person and virtually. Lakiesha graduated from the school of Ministry at the Church For the Nations in 2020.
The Townsel’s have served together in ministry for over 15 years and continue to grow and serve in marriage and purpose partnership.
Pastors Sean and Erica Moore
Pastors Sean and Erica R Moore are the Pastors at Faith Christian Center in Phoenix, Arizona. They both are ordained and also graduates of the Word of Faith Bible Training Center (BTC), under the leadership of Bishop Keith A. Butler. Pastor Sean has served in campus, youth and singles ministries and also co-pastored a church with Bishop Keith A. Butler in Akron, Ohio. He is also the founder of Man Camp, an annual men’s conference where hundreds of men travel from all across the country to attend this life-changing event. Pastor Sean is determined to raise up David’s to stand up against the Goliath’s of our day and age and demonstrate the relevance of the church to their community.
Pastor Erica is the founder of the Woman2Woman Women’s ministry with the mission of empowering women to be their best. Through the W2W book club, and events hosted live and online, women are equipped to see themselves the way God sees them in order to be all they are destined to be. While serving as Senior Pastor in AZ, Pastor Sean married the love of his life, Erica R. Moore on July 3, 2004. They now have four beautiful children: Heaven, Sean II, Isaiah and Hannah. Pastor Erica believes her greatest achievement so far is being a wife and mother to their beautiful children.
Pastors Gerald & Yvette Benton
Gerald and Yvette Benton have dedicated their lives to serving God and helping others build strong, healthy relationships. With a deep understanding of spiritual warfare and the importance of biblical marriage roles, they have become respected pastors, mentors, coaches, authors and entrepreneurs.
Their journey to ministry began with their own relationship struggles. After going through a very difficult period in their marriage, which included several separations, they turned to God and committed themselves to building a Christ-centered union. Through prayer, and engaging in spiritual warfare, Yvette trusted instructions from God to fight for the marriage. After overcoming demonic assignments of perversion, addictions and clinical depression, Gerald was delivered. They were able to reconcile and renew their commitment to each other and to God.
This experience and testimony inspired them to help other couples who were struggling with similar challenges. Drawing on their own experiences and their knowledge of scripture, they began to offer coaching, mentorship and teaching online through their ministry GYM (Gerald & Yvette Ministries). They also Pastor an online church community, Impart Ministries International.
Their unique team ministry, which emphasizes the roles of the Priest, Prophet & King (PPK) and the Helpmeet, has helped many couples and individuals find healing, restoration, and renewal.
They have been married for 24 years and have a blended family of five children. Their life and ministry motto is “Marriage works, if you WORK IT!”
